This course is designed to provide students with basic    information about digital learning and health informatics, and to equip them    with the essential skills required as healthcare professionals. The course    covers digital innovations and the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in    healthcare education and training. It also explores the evolution of digital    learning education and the web and debates their role in contemporary    healthcare education and training. It explores the breadth of technology    application, current and emerging trends and showcases both local and    international e-health practice and research. Spanning    14 weeks, the course introduces the scientific study of behavior and mental    processes through core areas such as biological bases of behavior, sensation    and perception, states of consciousness, learning and memory, cognition,    intelligence, motivation, and emotion. Students will explore developmental    milestones, personality theories, stress and health psychology, and gain an    understanding of psychological disorders through the DSM-5 framework.
