events.<\/li>\n          <li>Proposing functions, special occasions, and activities for students.<\/li>\n          <li>Assisting in official DMU events such as New Student Orientation, DMU Iftar, and DMU Global Day.<\/li>\n          <li>Organizing educational and recreational trips at least once per semester.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        \n        <p><strong>Conduct of Student Activities <\/strong><\/p>\n        <ul>\n          <li>Organizing educational, scientific, cultural, sports, and sustainability events, initiatives, and competitions.<\/li>\n          <li>Hosting talks on health-related topics.<\/li>\n          <li>Announcing activities and highlights through official DMU platforms (Instagram and the website) only after approval from the Director of Student Affairs.<\/li>\n          <li>Promoting diversity, inclusion, and student engagement in all events.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        \n        <p><strong>Student Council Elections Procedure <\/strong><\/p>\n        <ul>\n          <li>Elections are held at the beginning of the second semester each academic year.<\/li>\n          <li>The Student Engagement and Clubs Specialist and Faculty Club Coordinators oversee the election process, announcements, and candidate registration.<\/li>\n          <li>Students may run for one position only; Year 1 students are encouraged to run for Vice President or Assistant General Secretary.<\/li>\n          <li>Campaigns are supervised by the Elections Organizing Team (EOT), under the guidance of the Student Engagement and Clubs Specialist and Faculty Club Coordinators.<\/li>\n          <li>Voting is conducted through Microsoft Forms during the Elections Ceremony, following candidate speeches.<\/li>\n          <li>Results are announced through official DMU communication channels following approval by the Director of Student Affairs and the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.<\/li>\n          <li>Each Student Council term is one
