In his address, Prof. Merheb highlighted the essential role of nurses as frontline healthcare leaders and emphasized the importance of excellence in nursing education, clinical competence, professional ethics, and service to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event brought together faculty and staff members from the College of Nursing, as well as colleagues from the College of Medicine and the College of Pharmacy. Their participation reflected Dubai Medical University\u2019s strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and its shared commitment to advancing healthcare education and strengthening the healthcare workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key highlight of the celebration was the active participation of first- and second-year nursing students, who demonstrated their creativity, knowledge, and pride in the profession. They also designed informative and engaging posters showcasing the impact of nursing on patients, families, communities, and healthcare systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program also featured interactive games and activities that encouraged teamwork, engagement, and a strong sense of belonging among students, faculty, and staff. The vibrant atmosphere reflected the defining qualities of the nursing profession: compassion, collaboration, resilience, leadership, and a deep commitment to serving others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The College of Nursing extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
