{"id":21811,"date":"2026-03-23T08:05:24","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T08:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/?post_type=blog_post&#038;p=21811"},"modified":"2026-03-23T08:05:56","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T08:05:56","slug":"dubai-medical-universitys-research-featured-in-ruya-magazine","status":"publish","type":"blog_post","link":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/blog-post\/dubai-medical-universitys-research-featured-in-ruya-magazine\/","title":{"rendered":"Dubai Medical University&#8217;s Research Featured in Ru\u2019ya Magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>DUBAI (March 23, 2026) Dubai Medical University&#8217;s research has been featured in <em>Ru\u2019ya Magazine<\/em>, published by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research project, conducted by <strong>Dr. Naglaa Saad<\/strong> \u2013 Assistant Dean for Quality &amp; Accreditation and Head of the Integrative Medicine Department, College of Pharmacy, Dubai Medical University, is titled <em>\u201cA Machine Learning Approach to Evaluating the Impact of Natural Oils on Alzheimer\u2019s Disease Progression.\u201d<\/em> The study investigates the use of machine learning to analyze the chemical composition of natural oils and predict their potential role in slowing the progression of Alzheimer\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By integrating artificial intelligence with pharmacological and natural product research, the project aims to contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was a collaborative effort between Dubai Medical University (DMU) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT-Dubai).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.mohesr.gov.ae\/newsletter\/Feb-26\/EN\/index.html\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DUBAI (March 23, 2026) Dubai Medical University&#8217;s research has been featured in Ru\u2019ya Magazine, published by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).
