Aena Khan from College of Medicine students secured the Bronze Award for Best Poster by Trainee<\/strong> at Al Amal Research Day 2026<\/em> held at Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital (EHS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award-winning poster, titled:
\u201cPerceptions, Attitudes, and Barriers Toward Research Among Medical Students in the UAE: A National Cross-Sectional Study,\u201d<\/strong>
was presented by Aena Khan and Mohammed Atef on behalf of a national collaborative research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The study, recently published in Frontiers in Medicine<\/em>, includes collaborators from MBRU, GMU, University of Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah Medical University, and Al Amal Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This recognition highlights the strength of inter-university collaboration and COM\u2019s commitment to advancing research excellence in the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
