{"id":20036,"date":"2026-01-22T05:53:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T05:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/?post_type=blog_post&#038;p=20036"},"modified":"2026-01-28T05:57:29","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T05:57:29","slug":"dubai-medical-university-college-of-pharmacy-participates-in-icpm-innovation-summit-2026","status":"publish","type":"blog_post","link":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/blog-post\/dubai-medical-university-college-of-pharmacy-participates-in-icpm-innovation-summit-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Dubai Medical University \u2013 College of Pharmacy Participates in ICPM Innovation Summit 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p align=\"justify\">Dubai Medical University (DMU) \u2013 College of Pharmacy took part in the ICPM (International Conference of Pharmacy &amp; Medicine) Innovation Summit 2026, held from 20\u201322 January 2026 at Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, under the theme \u201cBuilding a Culture of Innovation and Technology in Pharma\/Healthcare.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DMU pharmacy faculty contributed to the scientific program with the following presentations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Doaa Alkalidi \u2014 Anti-Obesity Medication Use in the General Public: A Growing Challenge in the Community Pharmacy Practice Setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Yasmein Yaser Salem \u2014 Advancing Pulmonary Administration Through a Nanocarrier-Based Approach for Improved Respiratory Treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Rizah Anwar Assadi \u2014 Are Pharmacists prepared for Effective Medication Review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">DMU pharmacy students actively participated in scientific and poster competitions, as well as the universities teams competition, showcasing their research skills and innovation.
