The conference was held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, from 16\u201318 December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"justify\">Dr. Anbar presented a poster on Alzheimer\u2019s disease focusing on drug repositioning of promising compounds, one of which has progressed to Phase II clinical trials for treatment of non-hormone-dependent breast cancer. This work includes outstanding undergraduate students from DMU who played a key role in this research. From the College of Pharmacy, Rim Jaber, Maryam Elnazier, Tasneem Zarzour, and Rahma Nasir, alongside Sana Ahmed and Rokia Malahifci from the College of Medicine, with the great support from Dr. Valia Khoder, Research Associate at DMU Research Center.
