{"id":12416,"date":"2025-08-27T07:05:44","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T07:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/?post_type=blog_post&#038;p=12416"},"modified":"2025-09-29T12:54:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T12:54:46","slug":"dmu-college-of-pharmacy-students-represent-uae-at-70th-ipsf-world-congress","status":"publish","type":"blog_post","link":"https:\/\/dmu.ae\/home\/blog-post\/dmu-college-of-pharmacy-students-represent-uae-at-70th-ipsf-world-congress\/","title":{"rendered":"DMU College of Pharmacy students represent UAE at 70th IPSF World Congress"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A six students delegation from DMU College of Pharmacy recently participated in the 70th International Pharmaceutical Students\u2019 Federation (IPSF) World Congress held in Nairobi, Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eman Waheed Abbas &#8211; 2nd Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rahma Nasir &#8211; 4th Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budoor AlKous &#8211; 2nd Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marwa Hadi &#8211; 4th Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Huda Alnuaimi &#8211; 2nd Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enana Al Fakih &#8211; 4th Year<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Representing the MiA DPCSU, United Arab Emirates, under the guidance of faculty advisor, Yasmein Yaser, our student delegates actively engaged in all three segments of the Congress: the Leaders in Training (LiT) program, the Main Congress, and the Post-Congress Tour (PCT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Congress brought together over 200 pharmacy students and recent graduates from more than 40 countries worldwide, creating a vibrant platform for professional development, cultural exchange, and global collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are happy to announce our delegation\u2019s outstanding achievements and contributions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recognition as Best LiT-er\u00a0\ud83c\udf1f\u00a0(Rahma Nasir).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3rd place\u00a0in the Safari PharmaQuest Competition\u00a0: Clinical Skills (Advanced) \u00a0\ud83c\udfc5\u00a0(Rahma Nasir \u2013 Marwa Hadi \u2013 Huda Alnuami).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4th place\u00a0in the Safari PharmaQuest Competition\u00a0: Patient Counselling (Advanced)\u00a0\ud83c\udfc5(Rahma Nasir \u2013 Marwa Hadi \u2013 Huda Alnuami).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Award for Overall Best Abstract Presentation\u00a0\ud83c\udfc5\u00a0 (Enana Alfakih).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in the Poster Presentation Competition\u00a0 (Marwa Hadi).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participation in the Poster Design Competition\u00a0 (Eman Waheed).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These accomplishments highlight our students\u2019 clinical expertise, research skills, creativity, leadership potential, and commitment to advancing patient-centered pharmacy practice on an international stage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A six students delegation from DMU College of Pharmacy recently participated in the 70th International Pharmaceutical Students\u2019 Federation (IPSF) World Congress held in Nairobi, Kenya.
