Dubai Medical University was represented at the first UAE Drug Discovery and Biotechnology Network Meeting<\/em><\/strong>, held on June 4, 2025, by Dr. Naglaa Ashmawy<\/strong>, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy. The event brought together leading scientists, academics, and industry professionals in a national effort to foster collaboration and innovation in pharmaceutical research and biotechnology. Around 200 attendees participated in the meeting, reflecting strong national interest in advancing this critical field.

\n Dr. Naglaa delivered a presentation titled “Natural Product Drug Discovery and Metabolomics for Disease Insights,”<\/strong> showcasing her research in natural products and metabolomic profiling, particularly in cancer-related investigations. Her talk emphasized the integration of traditional bioactive compounds with modern analytical tools to advance drug discovery and deepen disease understanding.
