Dr. Hanan Anbar, Associate Professor at the College of Pharmacy, participated in the \u201cEffective Grant Writing\u201d workshop organized by the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS). The event was held on May 1, 2025, at the Pullman Creek City Center Hotel, Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full-day workshop brought together academics and research professionals from the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman to explore strategies for successful grant development. The session was delivered by Prof. Chrissie Boughey, Former Deputy Vice Chancellor at Rhodes University, South Africa, and CLICKS International Associate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DMU acknowledges the efforts of Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, CEO and Chair of the MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum, in facilitating this opportunity to support research advancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also recognize the leadership of Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, for his continued support in promoting faculty engagement in initiatives that strengthen institutional research capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such participation reflects DMU\u2019s ongoing commitment to advancing academic development and impactful research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
